The primary purpose for a WRB (Weather Resistive Barrier) is to protect a building’s sheathing and structural components from water, moisture and air. The protection from a weather resistive barrier can lead to a much “greener” building, improving energy efficiency by up to 40%. WRB’s can limit/reduce mold and tighten up a building for comfort and longevity.
